Marrows’ Cream

•Ingredients for 4 persons:
•4 – 5 Marrows
•2 garlic cloves
•½ glass of milk
•Olive oil
•Salt
•Sugar
•Cured ham
•Kitchen tools:
•Medium pot and cover
•Wooden spoon
•Electric mixer

•Peal the marrows and put them under the tap water.
• Slice them into small pieces and cook them in a medium pot with 5 olive oil spoons aprox.

•The fire should be low. Keep on stirring every 3-5 minutes.
•After 15 minutes, drop the 2 garlic cloves.
•Pour some salt.
•Keep on stirring.

•When you see the apperance like in the picture (soft and breaky), take it out of the fire.
•Use an electric mixer to get an homogeneous texture.

•Add half a glass of milk and use the electric mixer again.
•Taste and pour more salt if it’s too sweet.
•If it’s a bit bitter, pour a bit of sugar until you get the taste you want.
•Cut some cured ham and drop on top.

what size is a “glass”? how much liquid does it hold? There are so many different sized glasses, I need to know the actual amount of liquid that is required. can you help.

Hi Norah! Sorry I didn’t say it in ml or grs. You can see how much in the Power point of the recipe… I would guess it is something like 1 cup or a bit less. It will depend on the quality of the zucchinis if they are fresh and seasonal, you will need less milk.
